Information we collect
We may collect the name, birth date, email address, reading focus, questions or context, and support messages you provide. Relationship products also collect the other person's name and birth date. We create and store calculated profiles, previews, compatibility results, and completed readings.
We also collect the limited technical and transaction information needed to operate the service, including session and referral data, public landing pages, timestamps, browser and device information, order and receipt identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, and refund or dispute status.
How we use information
We use information to calculate and generate readings, deliver and recover private links, verify payments, provide support, prevent abuse and duplicate claims, maintain transaction and email-preference records, send transactional messages, measure public-site performance, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute obligations.
AI-assisted generation
SoulNumber readings are AI-assisted. Relevant submitted and calculated information is processed by OpenAI to prepare previews and paid readings. Depending on the product, this can include names, birth dates, calculated profiles, selected focus, questions, context, and relationship details. The other person named in a relationship reading is not contacted.
Payments
Payments are handled by the third-party provider identified at checkout. SoulNumber does not collect or store your full card number or card security code. We receive and store the product, amount, currency, provider order or sale identifiers, payment status and timestamps, and refund, reversal, or dispute information needed to deliver and support the order.
Service providers
We use service providers to run SoulNumber, including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for hosted data storage, OpenAI for reading generation, Resend and our support mailbox for email, and the payment provider shown at checkout. Google and Meta technologies may be used on public marketing and checkout pages only when advertising consent is available. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Cookies and browser storage
Local and session storage support session identifiers, referral attribution, drafts, event deduplication, and preference state. Private reading, relationship-preview, resume, and unsubscribe pages do not load advertising tags. We do not send report text, birth dates, full names, personal questions, partner details, or private access tokens to advertising platforms. Where advertising measurement is permitted, those platforms may receive public-page events, purchase value and currency, transaction identifiers, device information, cookie identifiers, and a hashed email address.
Storage, retention, and private links
Information needed to create, deliver, secure, and support readings is stored in a hosted database as well as, in limited cases, in your browser. You do not need a conventional account. Private links function like access keys, so keep them confidential and contact us if one may have been exposed.
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to deliver and maintain access to readings, provide support, prevent fraud, resolve payment disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting duties. Unpaid drafts expire after seven days but may be retained for security and transaction-history purposes. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, or withdraw consent where applicable. We may verify your identity and may retain transaction, security, or legal records where required.
