Letter chart
The repeating Pythagorean 1 through 9 system
Letters are assigned values in a repeating sequence. Accents are normalized for calculation, punctuation is ignored, and the original name remains the customer's display name.

Eight values
What the complete personal profile contains
The profile includes Life Path, Birthday, Expression, Soul Urge, Personality, Maturity, Personal Year, and First Name numbers. Each comes from a defined subset of the name or date.
- Life Path: all digits in the birth date
- Birthday: the calendar day of birth
- Expression: all letters in the full birth name
- Soul Urge: vowels in the full birth name
- Personality: consonants in the full birth name
- Maturity: Life Path plus Expression
- Personal Year: birth month and day plus calendar year
- First Name: letters in the first name
Reduction rules
How totals become core numbers
Digits are repeatedly added until the total becomes a single digit. When 11, 22, or 33 appears as the final total for a core value, SoulNumber preserves it as a Master Number. Birthday values preserve 11 and 22 when those are the birth day; Personal Year values reduce to 1 through 9.
Other traditions may preserve master values at different intermediate steps. Publishing the method makes those differences visible rather than presenting one convention as universal.
Interpretation standard
How SoulNumber turns values into a reading
The reading receives the already-calculated profile and the customer's chosen focus. It is instructed not to recalculate or invent values. It looks for repeated themes, meaningful contrasts, current-cycle context, and practical reflection questions.
Names, birth dates, email addresses, report text, private access tokens, and personal questions are never sent to advertising platforms. Private report routes are excluded from search indexing.
